Why OneX exists

OneX was created because a perfectly viable business couldn't raise.

A real estate brand spun out of a regional proptech unicorn — $8–10M of marketing equity already in the ground, a working team, a clear expansion path across French-speaking North Africa. The kind of business an operating fund should have been able to back.

It couldn't raise. The seed round didn't close. Not because the business was broken — because the venture industry is shaped to fund rockstars, not to make the unfinished middle productive.

OneX is the answer to that. The engine for the companies that got built but didn't get rocketed. The 90% the industry has quietly written off. We started with that one. We're building out from there.
